Free Arcade Game for XBL Problems

The arcade game is Undertow.
Details for Undertow are located here. It looks like a decent game and it is free so I figured why not try it out. Well I'm not going to play it yet but I'm downloading it while it is still free.

Regularly 800 points, Undertow is free of charge beginning 2:00 a.m. PST Wednesday, January 23 and continuing through 11:59 p.m. PST Sunday, January 27.

It says 2:00 a.m. but I was able to download it right now which was around 12:54 so go out and get it while you still can.

Also before anyone says "WTF I already downloaded this when it wasn't free" my answer to that is this.

If you already have it, you should be able to contact Xbox Live support and they are supposed to "take care of you," though some people have claimed support told them this version of Undertow is different and they won't be offered a different game... I think they just got a bad employee, so try again if you get that response.

Ah crap, well I was thinking today was Wensday because I didn't have school Monday so I'm sorta off track yet in my happiness thread post I had it correct. Thanks for pointing that out even though it is too late for me to do anything about it. ;P

It's actually sort of a fun game to fuck around with a bit when your bored (as are most arcade games ). Geometry Wars like controls, sorta.

This is there way of making us not hate them? A free arcade game? Sounds good. Although it doesn't make up for all the times I wish private chat would have worked.

I dont think this makes up for anything this is in my opinion the worst game ive ever played. I have like a 30" tv and your character is the size of a fly on my screen literally. The controls suck, The graphics suck, and the gameplay sucks as well... Now keep in mind when reading me say this that I downloaded and beat the free "Yaris" game with all but one achievements whereas I couldn't give this Undertow game 5 mins of my time. When a completely free game is 10x better than the non-free game there giving us to make up for downtime, I can hardly consider it a fair trade for the week or so I had issues.

The game isn't that bad, is it? I actually had fun with it. It's not like they force you to play as the marine anyway...

I play on a 19" display and I'm totally fine.

Oh it's definitely not perfect, but I love these kind of games to screw around in when i'm bored, as I said.

Basically, it's a battlefield style game in an arcade setting. You choose a class and go out to capture control points, and whoever controls the most points has the other teams tickets go down, and by hitting zero tickets you lose.

Destroyer is fun to play, but I wish there was like a secondary weapon to take out annoying enemy marine pests.. Guess it'd be too powerful.

It's not a bad game, but I definitely wouldn't pay for it.

Started playing this today and it's okay. The campaign is pretty sort and boring but the gameplay it decent, I enjoyed the very last level. Achievements are pretty easy as well. Already got 10/12.

I was playing this on the normal difficulty yesterday and was becoming very frustrated with how many enemies were spawning in a certain level...I can't remember which exactly but it was insane and it pissed me off. The game could be fun if it wasn't so damn difficult. It reminds me too much of Contra...rip off...
