Same. I went to my friend's house and got stuck, because snowplows hate his roads. And nobody thinks when they get stuck. HURR I HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE PUSH. Just rock it back and forth between first and reverse, people...

I've got 3 multiplayer online ranked acheivements left. Mongoose mowdown, overkill and 2 4 1...
(Yes I've gone up in points)...

Tis a pity. Mongoose I can handle (once I get a level that has a mongoose in it!) but the other two are gonna be hard for me.

on arachnophobia: when i was about ten, i awoke one day to find that a spider had made a web between my pillow and blanket. That wouldn't have been that bad, if there weren't hundreds of mini spiders running about... as you can imagine, I had a bad case for a few years afterwards, though I'm pretty much over it now.

For overkill, just do the ranked free-for-all playlist and wait until you get a swords match. I've gotten overkills in other places, but the highest concentration of them are in a ffa swords match. Just get good at swords, in other words :P

You can get an overkill fairly easily in a ffa king of the hill match as well, just get a rocket launcher and stay back and wait until there are a bunch of them in one spot, then bombard it with nades and rockets. Never done it myself, but it should work :P

Ugh, that would be absolutely horrible..

I had 2 3 day weekends in a row.. gotta go to bed early now. I'm pretty tired of school (not my school, just school in general).

What sound card you got?
SigmaTel High Def Audio. I don't know if that's the actual hardware name but it's the codec I use in XP.
Veegie wrote:I had that problem too, but then Vista automatically fixed it a few minutes later.
I didn't give it much time. I remember trying out one of the beta's and it worked for that...but then the 30 day trial was over and I had to get rid of it.

forums.halomods.com has finally been blocked by the School district's filters after almost a year of being wide open. First, I lost the sigs (most were hosted by imageshack/Photobucket) now the entire site. The company is 8e6 technologies, and if anyone can find a way to get around it, please, do share.

I'm addicted to cracking my fingers, knuckles, wrists, ankles, toes, etc. GRR.

I need to stop. Was it ever proven that doing that causes arthritis? hmm.

Our school uses 8e6 as well, so I use Ultrasurf. (Downloadable application, completely safe.) Since, the school blocks all proxies, as well.

Is what we use or a downlaodable aplication/proxy would help. Note that using https may get you around proxy blocks, your best ebt would be an app of course. Just keep it on a USB stick.

The japanese flag under his name says yes.

Man, I am so pissed. When I saw THIS THEME on my bro's computer, and I asked where he got it and he showed me, I felt so sorry for myself. It looks almost as good as vista, and comes with that Rocket Dock thing, which looks sexy as hell. I saw all this and thought, why the HELL did I upgrade to Vista? And then I remembered because I wanted to take the risk and see if I lucked out. Of course, I didn't. Then I thought, when I buy a new computer, I'm staying with XP and getting this theme for surez.

And then finally I remembered that if I wanted to play the newest games with DX10 (which most of them will require), I'd have to get vista.

This really makes me think, **** YOU, MICROSOFT. Making DX10 games only for Vista, what bastards. What if you're a serious gamer who looks forward to the sexy-ness of DX10 games, but don't want to upgrade to a crappy, slow OS? Too bad, says microsoft. Go out and blow $300 on some software that will make your computer screech to a halt in performance.

Yeah, the only reason DX10 is Vista only is because Microsoft hates its customers! Damn this progression in technology. Image

You can unlock the "Very High" settings for DX10 users in Crysis by using a patch for the game.
