Halo logo

Post by Blarg-Blarg-Blarg! »

I saw this realy cool halo logo online, and messed around for hours to make it a perfect dds file. Be sure that when you inject it, click no. If you click yes, some files will corrupt.

Isn't that the same UI FTW uses? If you used another person's work you are required to give credit.

And you didn't even make your own gradient.

It is extremely Ugly, took no effort, and doesn't work with either UI (Pepsi's or regular).
I give it a 1/10 because you had to find it.

Also, upload images to http://www.imageshack.us or other image uploading sites for pictures.

I will give it this much, the alpha channel does look decent but what your actually looking at doesn't make up for it.

3/10 for alpha channel editing. Next time find a better logo to use in game.

Personal Note:
When ever your showcasing a skin make sure you say in your release post that it is being shown on whatever mod and only the skin your offering is available. It will cause you less stress. Main thing you want to do anyways is show a skin on stock maps period.

Or instead you could try theming the rest of the UI the same way to make it more interesting.

Oh, now that was fun. When I injected the logo I made colorful corruption in my map selection screen, fun, fun, fun indeed.

comment about the skin quality:

my personal opinion on skinning is that you NEVER EVER inject a skin that is less than 2 - 4 megas as a .psd.
