No, You have to pay for an addition to the update, the update (correct me if I'm wrong) fixes bugs, adds some features to the iTunes Store and Lyrics for songs, and support for the additional apps that you have to pay for.

No Pics... Yet
and
About 350mb of applications/stuff that I put on the iPod that you can't do in itunes.

on a 16 Gig iTouch I still have a lot of space.

Only have problems when using screenshot, which gives everyone problems.

screenshot freezes every once in a while, but other than that I've never had a problem with it

3rd Party iTouch/Phone Application that takes a screenshot of your screen with a built in screenshot viewer.

Recomended not to have enabled unless your planning on taking a screenshot, seeing as it takes up a huge amount of processing memory.

if you dont end all the other unnecessary processes with the process manager it will be lagy. I find it useful when taking a screenie of beta apps.

My dad got an iPhone!

Well, ordered it. We haven't even switched our service from Cellular One to AT&T yet. Or got the phone in the mail yet. But he did order it

(I'll actually get a phone now, everybody in my family had a phone except me. Kinda sad... I wont be getting an iPhone though, too poor)

Kirk theres a way that you can keep your carrier and your same number on the iPhone, my iPhone is verizon, you just cant access the edge server.
