alright i saw the preview commercial the other day and all i got to say is "YES" lol i love the Burnout series i have all of them and am going to add this one to my collection, the graphics haven't been too awful much better, but whats not fun about racing and destroying things at the same time? 8)

I've been hyped about this game for a while now. I've loved the series ever since 3 came out (didnt play the first two), and it looks like this will be better than the rest.

Btw, the actual name of the game doesn't have "City" in it. /nitpick

The demo turned me off the game =( and I spent countless hours playing 3 bymyself or with friends.
I'll wait for reviews before considering.

I love the Burnout series but I think this is a step in the wrong direction. I think that the open world idea is terrible for racing games, especially for Burnout. When I start the game, I want to pick a race/event and go. I don't want to have to drive around looking for shit.

On a positive note, I love how they've improved the damage vehicles receive. One thing I enjoyed in the demo was trying to see how smashed I could get my car before it became totaled.

I'm half and half on that one. I think it's cool, but once it gets old, you just want to jump into events, like you said.

I just wish the obstacle cars got equally messed up as yors did unlike the other games.
