Our conditioning today was in weather that was below freezing, and even worse with the wind chill. My lungs are fucking destroyed right now.

It was intentional. Specific reasons are irrelevant (At least on the public board), but know that there was a reason for the lack of activity. It's done now, activity will be back at its previous state now.

...and keep the book in semi-perfect condition.

My Rant:
I can't find my phone.
It's somewhere in my house for sure, but I have no idea where and I just strip-searched the typical places I use it (Computer Desk, My Room, Living Room.)
I'm getting sick of this, I feel like I'm losing stuff everyday, about 2 days ago I couldn't find my 360 headset for the third time this month.

Thanks lej for the sig.

I think that it's somewhere around 1/10 of the price. Which is why you sell them to incoming students.

Note:

Always buy the fucked up and written all over books. Never the new ones. I learned that even in High school books. Some may have a bit of tagging in them, but My Econ book has a lot of helpful notes in perfect handwriting in the margins.

Assuming the person you are getting it from is intelligent. If you can get them for cheaper though, definitely.

Yea, 2 of the books I bought were used and had highlighted stuff. All the text that was highlighted was pretty legit so I bought 'em...

Well, contents in books can tend to be I guess random. some can be helpful, like in my econ book. but the Biology book I had in 9th grad was missing pages, smelled like weed and I think it had blood on one of the pages.

You know it's supposed to snow tomorrow?
I'm sure it's worse where you are -- you're in the "White Area" on the weather map.

When looking at all the macbook air stuff....I thought to myself it was pretty kool. Except for the lack of disc drive. Sure they have this wireless thing...But put it in a practical perspective. Lets say I buy, erm, what's for a mac? photoshop for the air. I want to install it. But since it has no disc I have to wirelessly send it to the air via another computer. Lets say I have two computers: one doesn't have wireless, so that's out of the question and the other one is in use (someone's playing a game or something). So now I have to inconvenience them to ask that I want to install this software.

How can that be touted as innovative? You have to take extra steps (or spend more money on an external usb drive) than the older, more convenient method! The only way I can see it being considered good is when someone has something you want and you just leach off them. Someone bought a new cd? Just rip the music from them!

Obviously it was removed to make the thing so damned thing...But instead of saying: To make this thing thin, we removed stuff and gave some alternatives...Its: This is so innovative you can install things over wireless!

Yeah, I agree that the wireless CD thing isn't exactly the easiest solution to it...but it is a cool idea...I wouldn't have thought of that.

If it wasn't for the fact that it's practically twice the cost of the original macbook, I'd consider it. It's just way too damn expensive...
