Well, it was a good read and about the only good explanation. Thanks.Munsie wrote:http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=14414600DrXThirst wrote:So, I guess getting MVP 6 out of 10 games doesn't count?

...and keep the book in semi-perfect condition.
My Rant:
I can't find my phone.
It's somewhere in my house for sure, but I have no idea where and I just strip-searched the typical places I use it (Computer Desk, My Room, Living Room.)
I'm getting sick of this, I feel like I'm losing stuff everyday, about 2 days ago I couldn't find my 360 headset for the third time this month.

I think that it's somewhere around 1/10 of the price. Which is why you sell them to incoming students.Pyroman wrote:After the semester is over the bookstore will buy back the books...At a fraction of what you actually paid.

When looking at all the macbook air stuff....I thought to myself it was pretty kool. Except for the lack of disc drive. Sure they have this wireless thing...But put it in a practical perspective. Lets say I buy, erm, what's for a mac? photoshop for the air. I want to install it. But since it has no disc I have to wirelessly send it to the air via another computer. Lets say I have two computers: one doesn't have wireless, so that's out of the question and the other one is in use (someone's playing a game or something). So now I have to inconvenience them to ask that I want to install this software.
How can that be touted as innovative? You have to take extra steps (or spend more money on an external usb drive) than the older, more convenient method! The only way I can see it being considered good is when someone has something you want and you just leach off them. Someone bought a new cd? Just rip the music from them!
Obviously it was removed to make the thing so damned thing...But instead of saying: To make this thing thin, we removed stuff and gave some alternatives...Its: This is so innovative you can install things over wireless!

Yeah, I agree that the wireless CD thing isn't exactly the easiest solution to it...but it is a cool idea...I wouldn't have thought of that.ScottyGEE wrote:When looking at all the macbook air stuff....I thought to myself it was pretty kool.
