I've got a Zune. Lots of my friends have iPods. Sound quality is much better, and although it doesn't have EQ settings, it has presets that work pretty well.
I'll tell you what... you can drop $250 on an 80gb Zune on Amazon, get yourself ten times the storage of the iPod, then use the other $150 to print out photos.
Sounds good to me.
Oh, and I don't know if the iPod touch is able to zync with the PC over the WiFi in your house, but the ability to do so with the Zune is nice. It sits on the dock to stream movies and music to the upstairs entertainment center and syncs with the PC in the basement without having to be moved. It's more convenient than you'll ever imagine.
