Your probly right tazz. im gunna try make a new one from scratch AND edit mine and see what i come out with... does anyone know if i can get the gold elites colour or cubemap or whatever onto a warthog?

go into a sp map that has elites go to the cubemaps bitmap and get the gold bitmap save it then go into bg and inject it over the warthogs

heres a different one, i tried to make it look more gold... its fairly diffreent though...

EDIT: here it is with the gold elite cubemap, you should see Ryders assult rifle with it!!!! but when you drive it changes and stuff like the elit so its hard to show how it goes ina picture...

I like the hog but it doesnt look "gold" now, it looks kinda charred. It's still nice looking but I think the process of trying to make it "gold" turned it into this. The main thing all the gold skins are lacking is luster. Its not something your going to be able to edit on the bitmap itself but playing around in the alpha channel for the multi. That channel is going to control how musch of the actual bitmap is present and how it glares and so forth. When you add a cube to it your now stuck with having that same cube on other items as well as your weapons and so forth. The answer is not in the cube, its in the multi.

Try adding some grays in the multi as well as some different shades of blue and green in the multi. That should make a hella' difference. I want to really try this myself but i don't want to take your skin idea or try to steal from it.

allright, thanks for the ideas... i know about the gold cubemap turning other stuff gold, its kinda annoying, also Elite_Green_devils, id love to see those rim models, did you make them?

and pepsi if i stuff it up il let you know and you can just do it :P

I dont realy understand properly how all these alpha layers and stuff works, and everytime i try to do it, it turns out look the same or worse :(

ok i have a pretty good idea about how alpha works but where do I go to edit the alpha? is it on the multi?
