If it had a bigger harddrive (30g-50g) I would probably end up buying it. I'm not that big a fan of the touch screen though.

Are you crazy? It's 300 bucks for the 8 gig, and 400 for the 16 gig. The sound quality is awesome too.
Look at what country I'm from. Look at what I wrote. But incase you didn't notice the first time around: "Higher than what you have to pay".

I also don't really believe your take on sound quality either, you hardly described why its awesome...Well, you didn't at all. Every single ipod I've listened to (which is all of them from 3rd generation up excluding the touch) does not have very good sound quality compared to other brands such as creative.

Not one player I've come across comes close to beating my meizu so if I were to buy the touch, I'd essentially be buying the thing for all its other features rather than its music...And really, the iPod touch is an mp3 player...Which is what I'd use it for most and all its other features second.

But I just wanna try it first...no stores have real things (a metal slab with a picture on it is real classy apple)
My bad, my god. Sorry. I never knew you lived in Australia, I'm sorry I can't keep track of all the countries of all the members of HM.

And I think the sound quality is good enough, at least for me, because I used to use a Sansa express :x Yeah. But I think it's ok.

That is the absolute worst excuse I've ever heard for making such a stupid mistake.
His location is located 36 pixels below his name...

Sorry I didn't see the tiny flag below his name, sitting among the numerous other emblems.

Was looking for a location: austrailia thing.

Anyway, I don't have an Ipod Touch, but the people who have em seem to like em.

Buy it! This is the best thing I have ever bought! Wanna know the best part? I got a discount on it because my dad works for apple! W00T! Sorry if that sounded like bragging. Anyways, it's a great product. The only downside is that Jail Breaking it takes forever on version 1.1.2 and that there is no flash player. Other then that, it is the best thing I have ever bought.

I'll tell you what, my girflriend has one of these things and she plays around with it all the time. She jailbroke it for herself and she has the nintendo emulator on it. That thing is somewhat difficult to play without the extruding d-pad and A/B buttons...

Add a 80gb hardrive and I'm sold. Other than that it's just another useless product that will be replaced within months by a second generation product.

To me it seems as though people had no idea touch interfaces existed before the iPod Touch/iPhone. I'm looking forward to what this year holds for electronics. There are a lot of great products coming this year.
