I think it is pointless to have the second one with a width of 330 if the image is not even going to take up the whole space. The second one would be better as a avatar than a signature.

In your first one...

It just doesn't look like you put a lot of effort into it. It's boring. The light shining on the character just looks like white space. The text just isn't perfect. It looks better with the border but in all, it could be made a lot better.

In your second one...

Also a little boring. It seems more like an avatar that a signature. When you put a border around it, which makes it look sorta better, it seems to have lost some of its original color.

Gimp did it i'll try a border in photoshop
