1st one.
The Technique with the line is a good concept. I suggest adding more to the line itself, maybe alter the colors, and pick a different color scheme. With such a thing going, I suggest changing up the font a bit. Try something with rounder edges, like Franklin Gothic or Futura, not something that clashes with the curvature like the Grungy Destroyed text.
2nd. If you're going to cut edges off, make sure that the image can work with it. it seems weird if the image was cut midway through, especially on Iron Man. It'd look a lot better without him. Text advice applies from the first in this one as well.
