Indeed, another emblem gained by complaining in the emblem thread. Woo.
Absolutely not.

So, I was kick ing the basketball off my shoe, and then, I it just hit wrong, barely tapped the window, busted it out, (in a perfect circle I might add.. ) And my brand new ball went into this big street, while it was raining. I run out there and get it, it's an inside ball, so it was pretty much destroyed. Ball, 40 Dollars. Window, 50 dollars. So then, we decide to give a friend a prank call, it was funny, until my friend, fell out of the chair from laughing, turned over a metal stool he was sitting on, and landed on a brand new Sony Erickson. $300.
So.. Total price paid today : $400. =/ But only 100 of it was my fault :p

Yeah I know it's not cold to anyone that lives up north but I'm use to it being warm or burning hot. It's sorta like if someone complained about it being 80 degrees and them saying it's burning hot, while here in Florida that is nothing.
Call of Duty 4 Veteran mode, as well as other games that use cheap gimmicks such as infinitely spawning enemies to make the game seem more challenging. Sorry, I don't think that helicopter has a small army inside of it that can keep replacing the machine gunner once I kill him. Hard modes are pretty much 90% luck and 10% skill in FPS games now...doesn't matter if you can kill those guys way before they can kill you, because they won't stop coming unless you get lucky enough to run/sneak past them so they stop spawning. What's the point of even having a gun then? I might as well just carry 50 flashbang grenades instead of a rifle, because that's pretty much how I got through most of the game anyways.
They did it to make it a challenge. They didn't want the player to camp around a corner waiting for all the enemies in an area to blindly run around to be blown into oblivion. I do agree with you about the helicopter spawning new gunners though.

So it's fair to have the enemies do just that? Give me infinite lives without having to start from a checkpoint and it'd be fair, but when there's three guys with RPDs staring at my only entrance in to a place that are somehow immune to flashbang grenades, and guys on the other side of the hall staring at said entrance as well, it's not a challenge, it's just a cheap gimmick to make you think it's challenging. I don't mind challenge here and there, odds stacked against you, but it's just ridiculous when it gets to this point.
I agree with you that the way some of the fights end up are just rediculous, but am I right to assume that the majority of your complaint is based upon how well the weapons work?

No, I have no problem killing people, I know when to go in to cover if I've been hit in a fire fight, but in some of the levels you have no choice but to run past enemies, go prone and hope they don't kill you while your invincible allies take them out.
WaywornMmmmm wrote:As weapons, I meant more of flash grenades.
I'm confused. Are you assuming I hate enemies using flashbangs, how it's more effective to flashbang enemies than kill them, or what? To clarify, I hate how with infinite spawning enemies, you're basically forced to flashbang them and run by, hoping you/your AI can kill them/move up before more spawn or whatever.
