ok im confused here
Has HEK been released yet? I have been going through alot of forums and finding posts like "I tried HMT3.5 with hek and it doesn't worK!" or im seeing tons of shit being done and I have no clue weather it has been released or not. If it has some one link me, if not please set me straight.
HEK hasn't been released yet TO ANYBODY (including "Admins") and if it was, it would be all over every Halo site's front page like HBO or here at Halomods. And when it does some out, you can definitely check Cortana.Org for the file BUT you also have to download a new version of HaloPC called HaloCE. Gearbox, HEK Developer, said it's supposed to come out very soon though.

I could be wrong and I usually am... but I read on gb forums that some specially chosen moderators get haloce beta to test kind of as a perk. First they said that if the mods give it to anyone they will be permently banned and lose their mod privledges. Then they said they could share with close friends... Looking for a link but gb forums are a mess right now.Excalibur wrote:HEK hasn't been released yet TO ANYBODY (including "Admins") and if it was, it would be all over every Halo site's front page like HBO or here at Halomods. Maybe so, BUT they are BETA testers so I doubt that they even got to get a complete version that was capable of creating maps from scratch. Maybe they could view and edit maps as in sparkedit; after all, Mono probably used it to make his Library MP. I do know that he used a Custom Built HMT though...

yea, HMT 3.3, which later became 3.5. /slapExcalibur wrote:Maybe so, BUT they are BETA testers so I doubt that they even got to get a complete version that was capable of creating maps from scratch.
