Couple questions. I figured I'd ask here, because someone might have experience with one of these, so here goes.
First question: If I transfer my Xbox LIVE account to my friend's 360, can I still use my account on my Xbox (provided he isn't logged in at the moment)? Second question: Is it possible to change the email account that's stuck with my Gamertag on www.xbox.com? I have an outdated Hotmail account stuck with it, and just for my own OCD, I'd want it on a newer one. I looked around and didn't see a place to do it, and I was wondering if I just deleted my account on Xbox.com and reregistered, would it affect my LIVE account at all?
Thanks in advance for tolerating my 360 nubness.

When you recover your account on a friends xbox, you will still be able to use it on your own xbox. After recovering on another xbox however, you will have to recover on your own.
I'm pretty sure there is a way to change the email associated with your Live account, but I don't remember what it is under. Try looking through account information on xbox.com or even live.com.

No problem for me, I'm just doing it on my original Xbox.Supermodder911 wrote:When you reocver a GamerTag on another 360 you won't be able to sign in on that Gamertag on the original 360.
Thanks for the replies, and thanks Scotty, I'll check that out to see if it's doable in the Dash. :3

Well, if you have your account on an xbox 1 and you recover your account onto your friends xbox 360, then you can sign on both as long as he isn't on your account.
I do this with my account because I don't like play Halo 2 on my 360. So, I have my account on both my xbox 1 and 360, so that when I want to play Halo 2, I turn off my 360 and turn on my xbox 1.
Good Luck!

Turns out that the cable to go to the router from where he has his 360 needs to be longer than 50 feet. >_> So next time that I go over there, I'll bring a two-cable link and then I can set it up. Thanks for the clarifications everyone!
