?how to remove the turret on a warthog?

i'm a 12 years old H2 modder, and i no know how to leave the damn turret to a hog, (hog jeep) i know:

Skinning (with DXTBMP and Paint or Photoshop)
Swap Dependencyes (Entity and Dothalo)
Medium knowledge of the Racetracks. (Entity Alpha BSP Viewer)
too small knowledge of 3D modeling, my first models.(Milkshape and Entity UE)
Applying/Creating mod patches (.ppf, .serenity, .sppf)
2/3 knowledge with Insolence.
Making a H1 pistol model without H1 maps (scenarios/multi/halo/highplains/h1_pistol)
Building unrefferenced items to a map (solo/deltatemple/bridge/bridge, solo/deltacontrolroom/control_walkway/control_walkway, objects/weapons/flak_cannon/flak_cannon, melee/jackal_shield/jackal_shield and more.


PLZ HELP ME WITH THE DAMN TURRET

"Leave a turret to a Warthog" doesn't really make any sense.

well if you do mean how do you remove the turrent on the hog then, go into the warthog vehicle tag and look at the dependancys or idents. You should see a hlmt tag for chaingun, null it. Im just guessing thats what he was asking.

sorry havent done that in a while, but it should be there or mabey in another tag cus thats how you turrent swap. ohh woops, its in the hlmt of the worthog, goto the hlmt of the worthog and null the chaingun hlmt.

goto Warthog hlmt, null depedancies for chaingun and guass cannon vehi's

The really correct method would be to spawn a troop warthog instead. Then you can have turret-ed hogs co-exist with the turretless hogs, and if you played system-link with other xboxs that don't have the mod, they will still be turretless.

To spawn a troop warthog (which is just the hog w/out turret) in a multiplayer map, open the warthog's .vehc file, and change the SID from 'default' or 'gauss' to 'troop' and save.

Another benefit, is if you decide you want to play a match with turrets on the hogs, but don't want to edit the map, just go into gametype settings, and change the light vehicle from map default to 'warthog' (or 'gauss warthog').

In the dependencies of the hog, the hlmt of the chaingun turret/gauss turret doesn't exist.

yes for removing ALL the chainguns on the map, you included teh word "worthog" leading me to belive you wanted the one in the worthog gone. The second way I sayed is the correct meathod for removing only the worthog turrents.

To summerize:

Most Correct Method (but requires hog to be spawned via vehc):
change permutation stringid to troop

Sort of Correct Method (but works no matter how hog is spawned):
