I still dislike the name...

An epic mod like this shouldn't have a name so informal, other people (people who don't know pepsi) aren't gonna take it seriously.

ok Pepsi you really really really need to import and save this in CE so it can be converted for mac.

Or, Pepsi could just at one point move on to CE when he's finished on PC, then maybe H2V, or Crysis, which both have good Editor's. Though I doubt Pep will ever be gone from here, why, he helped me find a decent PMI tut that didn't screw my map files up :P

im not going to quote anyone so ill just make a post summing up everyone questions and/or concerns..

it does say "FTW". if you look at the bottom of the "F" you can see how it has a horizional line on it. naturally the "T" would have it also. im sorry it doesn't look as clear as you would want it to be but i promise in game it looks correct.

as for future plans with pc modding... there are none. one this gets done im finished with halopc. this is like my final mod for this game so im trying to do the best i can and involve every tactic there is to make it a very unique mod. i know alot of people see just eye candy and what not, but im going to drop a snippet of a pm i sent to a respected halomodder on this forum what this mod does detail that people seem to be missing..

- UI tweeks
new ui custom built by conure. cleared out menus for better viewing. only legendary is offered and renamed as epic. ui widgets moved and edited to make the ui even more custom.

- SP upgrades
all the SP maps have new ai in them. the game will be 30% harder then legendary but balanced as well. there smarter, see better, hear better and hardly ever back down. their berserk chances are heightened and the grunts only have the fuel rods now. no more push over grunts. we have offered new things such as hunters riding on ghosts in b40, more sword elites so they dont seem like a rarity. we have changed the starting equipment for the beginnings of some levels to add things up like having a flamer at the beginning of the library. many scenery edits and swaps to make the levels slightly changed from stock but keeping it looking nice also. this would include wraiths at the beginning of the TaR level and such. all the vehicles are drivable as long as their not occupied by someone already. the most epic one is killing the timer at the final maw run.

- MP upgrades
all the MP maps have been rebuilt with PMI objects in place to add new custom scenery and thoes maps that could and still be online compatible. what i mean by this is that bloodgulch for example has pelicans in it now, hence it was a rebuilt map. you can now have this map in your map folder and still be able to join any server or have anyone join your home server without having a exception or anyone needing your custom map. other maps that wouldn't allow for this we spent the extra time to use the scenery the map has to further the look of it. a example of this is that beavercreek doesn't allow maps to be rebuilt and played online so we were forced to change the map into a jungle. theres pics in the new wip on this. we didn't just drop those maps and forget about them, we spent more time on them tbh.

- visual
all maps across the board have new redone lighting and custom lightmaps as well. there are new skins for weapons, vehicles and the biped. we have new cubes for levels as well as better shader's now too. no maps environmental look was left alone. each map will have a custom feel to it rather then knowing that maps like bg, di and infinity all use to feel the same.

- the playing field of view
we have tweaked the biped camera view in such a way the camera has been pulled back some to expose more of the weapon your using so it doesn't seem like a little weapon in the corner. this also gave more depth to your playing view making things seem more open and grand. it also has a placebo effect making it seem like your moving 2x's faster when your actually not. by having this effect in place games seem more fast paced and the action is more intense.

- the bitmaps
i would venture to say we now have edited 2/3 of the bitmaps halo has to offer. nothing you see in game has been untouched really. right now were making custom bitmaps level specific. what does this mean? no longer will the bases at deathisland, bloodgulch and so forth share the same texture. they will have their own internally. this meaning also we can change the diffuse metals on vehicles also to match their environments as well. sunset level, then you get something that makes your hog seen in a orange glow. imagine going to bloodgulch and having a set of vehicle skins, then next map your on infinity with a different set. the possibility's are mind blowing and were trying to explore them all. right now a stock bitmaps file is 302mb. when we get done its expected to have this over the 400mb.

-eggs?
yes, theres more easter eggs now and not cheesy ones. these you have to hunt for.
yea, i bet no one even noticed how none of the screens i posted especially with infinity's base and bloodgulch's base dont have the same linking texture's anymore. were trying to take the time to make each level on its own. its own identity if you will. and we still have more things in the works i didnt discuss in that pm to a friend.

people are asking for a quick release and to drop it now but i cant. it will be done when its done but it will not be left alone like other mods dropped in the past. it will be done, but were not going to release till we know its the best we can offer. your patience and feedback is more then appreciated trust me.

after this is done im prolly going to drop a few more custom mods for a game called "frets on fire" i enjoy over at their forums then venture into CE possibly. i have some awesome ideas for CE maps and would be nice to see them come to life...
