<WIP> PMIsland v2

Well, I really didn't know wherelse to go in modding except for back.

PMIsland v2

Ok, same idea as PMIsland 1, you get more vehicles for your money and some skins to boot. I dread making skins... 9 times out of 10 I corrupt them, and as far as my modeling skills go...
....lets not talk about my modeling skills.

Well, here are some pics. THe details above are in relation to the defaults of the vehicles, not all of the details are new from v0.9

Pelican: I've changed the veiw, made it so there's 12 seats in the back, and put in a dust effect for the landing jets.

Wraith: I fixed the bad overhead veiw it had so aiming is much easier.

Covenant dropship: I fixed the glitchy veiw, added 4 seats on either side, each with srings and proper FP veiws, added string for the driver seat, and fixed it for the entire vehicle.

Guess what skin's back?

Lifepod: Full working and user freindly, won't fly through walls, and has a much better veiw.

Have fun with those.

you have a great beginning in this.. now make it all work in a "new" enviroment. still seems like vehicles on deathisland. how about a like a sand dessert theme?

I kinda wanted to show some pics of the lifepod, me dive-bombing it to prove it was fixed. I took these pics before I fixed it and it was kinda late already and I wasn't about to boot up fraps and halo again (I'm very lazy).

Well, I certainly sounds like I'm on the right track here. I was thinking for a few themes maybe a desert island, or a snowy one (thawing snowy, I have no rain tag), or something else. As far as the enviroment goes, I'm kinda unsure as to what to do. I might be able to get a sand-storm

I was thinking of just making most of it sandy and adding a sandstorm. Though, for an island in the middle of an ocean, that won't fit right. I really don't know what to do, I pretty much started digging my own grave when I didn't PMI rain tags...

Well, gee

If people weren't allways throwing CE->PC at everyone and concentrate on making some apps that do something for those of us who don't want to, CE wouldn't be the future of PC.

Yup, sounds like PC is dying off.

pc is not dying. being able to bring ce content into pc so easly will only make it stronger. you must learn CE now to make PC mods better. its the simple fact that anything done on CE can be on PC now in about 401seconds with harbinger.

if you think about it harbinger killed the PMI process..

And I hate whorebringer...
Because of it, people will do thing it took time and effort to do before and next thing you know lazy-ass careless modders without any skill whatsoever will be making decent mods. And what's it gonna do? Set the standards higher. Like they aren't jacked up enough...

As for my mod progress...

UPDATE:
Theres a problem with the pelican and c-dropship physics, they go strait through other vehicles. I can't find a way to fix this properly, every time I do, there's "side effects".
