I'm sorry to say this, but people DO judge appearances. If you dress in a way that may carry stereotypes, prepare to live with those stereotypes applied to you. The only way to avoid it is by dressing differently.

The other thing: you probably don't want to go to a college that rejects you for something on your record from THE 8TH GRADE! I'd not sweat it. Just keep clean through high school and you'll be okay.

I kind of know what you're going through, a friend of mine's parents found his weed and called all his teacher and the principal and so his principal sees us going to first period from the band hall and I have long hair and look like a stoner (I'm not) that I smoke too, so I got a drug test, passed, and that ended that. Basically just prove you're innocent. Like others said, don't sit by the troublemakers if you have to. And most important, don't do anything stupid, that will just mess you up.

I've learned from personal experience is you'd be better off just sticking with a crowd that doesn't get in trouble (or does bad things just occasionally so they don't get caught (like me :p)). Of course, that's definitely not easy to do, so just try to avoid getting into trouble around them. I got blamed a lot for stuff I didn't do just because of who I hung out with. It's unfair, but that's life.

It's a bus ride... Can you not STFU for like 15 Min's? seriously. IF you want to continue riding the school bus, then you have to follow the directions of the bus driver. Sure some of them are Bags of stinky doo doo butter, but they are there not only to give you a ride but ensure your safe deliverance. So they are allowed to be bags of stinky doo doo butter.

Just sit by your self. Be quiet, Listen to you music player, fiddle with you phone, play with you handheld gaming system.

If it makes you feel better, the bus driver is a high school dropout who was unable to get a job other than the low paying bus driving one. She will never be in a position of management and sees this as her only opportunity to boss anyone around. Its a power trip. What you have to do is go to the school board (not the principal) wearing a nice suit (or a white dress shirt and tie) and nothing punk. You will be treated differently. Explain your situation and ask that they look into it as you believe yourself to be innocent. Weekly check in with them to see how their investigation is going. Likely, they will not do anything in a month or two. But, if you can prove that they didn't look into it, you can claim that the system is corrupt and get your mom to explain kindly that the school district is going to be sued. Don't threaten them, just tell them your plans. If you show them some evidence before, they will likely know they are at fault and opt to settle out of court. If you do go to court though, have your lawyer present a better case and sue them for as much as you can get for compensation and mental anguish. The key is...Fight the system. You can win.

Or just apologize to the bus driver (in a suit) and offer her poppyseed muffins every morning so she fails a drug test

Everything Locke said is absolutely true. You can fight, and you can win.

Contact the school board and arrange a meeting with them. Maturely present the situation and propose several solutions. If they refuse to help your cause, kindly state that you would like to take them to court.

You can certainly do it if you put your mind to it.

I'm not to fond of skaters, or emo punk kids. All I know is that your bound to be judged, the way I see it you should be very nice to the bus driver, don't talk and sit still. After about a week of this it should blow over.

Dude it's cool that you dress like a skater, I'm a skater and I know what you mean. Sometimes I suck and can't land a kickflip and I think about Bam Margera and how he had to strugle to become a famous skater.

Even though Bam isn't really that amazing, and kickflips are the easiest trick evar.

Lose the theme and give the bus driver a Christmas gift when you give it to him. Tell him sorry for all the problems he thinks you have caused and give him a nice hand shake. This is not a joke.

Show him a more respectable personality from you.
