The Official Happiness Thread
My first interview evar went pretty nicely :) I might get a job :)
Also, I had a good day :) My gf got her car, so we decided to skip a couple classes and just drove around for a while.. I got a headache and almost threw up, but I guess I was just hungry because we went to her mom's gas station and got some free food. Then, I go back to school and decide to be a little bit more social in some of my classes and actually joined a group of people I didn't know in working on a photography assignment (omaigawd). I'm usually pretty quiet and keep to my friends, but I decided it wouldn't hurt to be a bit more social. Anyways, I go to my study skills class, and my friend just happened to have Mass Effect in his backpack (don't ask why, I don't know), and lets me borrow it. Good day :)

I've started constructing a PC buying guide. It's coming along quite nicely. I've done CPU and I'm on OS, and it's taken less than an hour so it should come out very good. I did it because there is NO ONE in my school who knows the first thing about computers. All they know is if their computer is fast, or if it sucks. So I'ma educate them baaaaad.

I dunno about that. We still talk and everything. But honestly, I expect nothing more than rejection.GametagAeonFlux wrote:Three years? Sorry to ruin your dream kiddo, but there's no way you aren't in friends zone right now.
I just couldn't forgive myself if I didn't actually try.

Don't try, getting rejected is worse, and it'd make your friendship very awkward.Aumaan Anubis wrote:I dunno about that. We still talk and everything. I know this sounds contrary to my post, but we dont have much of a friendship. When we went to the same school, we use to be really close and everything. Then high school came along, and I see her about once a year at a Football game between the two schools. We don't really talk even once a week, it's sort of just disintigrated. So, if I was rejected, I wouldn't be losing much, and I'll have realized that I should probably look elsewhere, instead of wasting three more years.noscottno wrote:Don't try, getting rejected is worse, and it'd make your friendship very awkward.

Just because I expect it doesn't mean it will occur. In other words, I'm purposely lowering my expectations.RaVNzCRoFT wrote:If you expect rejection, there's no point in asking...it'll only make you feel bad and make it more awkward to ask in the future. You should wait until you have a better chance.
And, I don't foresee a better chance.

I answered that post, but you still hold true to it anyway?

You can't win a fight you already think you're going to lose. Have a little more confidance, be like "I'm gonna ask this dumb bitch out, and we're gonna have a good time." I'm sorry, but if you go in there all like "well you're probably gonna say no but..." then you'll get nothing. And usually when it does work, it only lasts for a couple days, and not in a good way. You can have an a-hole mentality without actually being one, and get girls easier.

I completely disagree. I'm not going to be all lame and such. If my expectations are raised, then shattered, I'd feel terrible.Leiukemia wrote:You can't win a fight you already think you're going to lose. The "a-hole" mentality I can guarantee won't work, at least not on this girl.
