Oh, for your 360, go to the network settings and swap your ip, default gateway, and subnet mask settings to manual. Thats making your xbox static. Then give it what ever ip you want and make sure it is using your default gateway as your router's ip. Then for subnet mask, well it will probably be 255.255.255.0. Then in your router's options, forward the 3 ports to the new ip you gave your 360. Save your settings and that should do the trick.

My little brother just put a parental code on my ps2, and I don't know how to override the code. Anyone have an idea?

I had that problem a while ago, here's a solution my mom found and e-mailed to me:

Code: Select all

Please follow these steps to reset the parental control password of your
PlayStation(R)2 computer
entertainment system:

- Insert a DVD Movie into your PlayStation 2 console.
- You should receive a message informing you that the Parental Level has
been set, and asking if
you'd like to allow the disc to play. Highlight "Yes" and then press the
"X" button.
- A new window will appear asking you to temporarily change the Parental
Control to a different
level. Again, highlight "Yes", and then press the "X" button.
- Another window will appear asking you to enter your Password. Above that
window are numbers (0-9).

- Do not enter your password, but instead, press the select button on your
Controller. This will
change the text in the window from "Enter Password" to "Delete Password".
- Using the numbers above the window input "7444". If successful, you will
receive a message
stating "Deletion Complete".
- You will now be asked to register a new password. Please select a
four-digit code of your
choosing.
- You will be asked to confirm your password selection by inputting the same
code once again. If
successful, you will receive a message stating "Registration Complete".
- Once the movie starts (please note that you must wait until the actual
movie starts, and not the
DVD menu), press the circle button once to stop the movie. A few seconds
after the movie stops the
DVD Player Settings Menu will appear on the screen. Highlight the "Stop"
icon on the menu (the
square in the lower right hand corner), and press the "X" button to stop the
"Resume Play" function.
This will save your new password.
- Note that if you reset the system, or place it in standby mode, before you
complete the step
above, your settings will not save.

Geh, the bass on my speakers is too high and it's on it's lowest setting. On my PC I can turn the bass down on there, but on my 360 I don't know of any way to change the audio seeing how generally you do that on your speakers...

There is no way to turn down the bass on the 360 itself, right?

I can't do that, because it's already enabled :?

I reset the router, port forwarded and made a static IP and DMZ'd
If the settings dont stick then I'm gonig to buy a new router. Currently my NAT is open and im not lagging out, but that might be because the router was reset. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I cannot believe people get so offended when you talk about religion. It is called tolerance and respect. When someone throws their hat down and argues about a religion is the dumbest thing to me. I truly can't believe it.

There was an explosion near my house today... My gf's mom was driving home from a doctors appointment when it happened, so she drove near it and saw a house on fire. Some kid runs out of the house on fire with his skin melting off.

Apparently, they were huffing gasoline and decided to light a doobie, causing the explosion... Burned half of their house and a portion of their neighbor's houses. 70% of his skin was burned.

Dumbasses.

Nobody was offended. It was removed to avoid people arguing about it. People will argue. It's best to avoid the conflict all together, as there will never be a time where people are free to believe what they want without others criticizing them for it.

in b4 claim that you're not relating it to the removal, and your rant is purely coincidental.

Damn JK :?

Also, it should be known by now that nothing but bad things come from religious discussion. Many times various people (maybe me at one stage? I can't remember) have tried to make it a calm discussion but when you grow up with such beliefs seeing other sides to the argument isn't easy...Which causes people to retaliate and the world collapses...And staff get sad. And that's just bad :(

Also, global warming =/= religion.
