New Question For Gmax

so i imported the ".obj" model into gmax and i tried to export it but i dont know where it saved to. i just started using gmax again because ive been using milkshape for the longest time and milkshape isnt the greatest modeling program for me

try gmax, its basically a freeware version, missing a few functions.

yeah i tried that but it wouldnt let me export thats a pretty big problem for me

Well, 3dsMax is not a free program. I'd suggest you look on their website for information on how to purchase it. I don't know the URL offhand, but Autodesk is the company that makes it, so google it.

so you're doing remodels? use misfit modeler for that, it's free and pretty good. I assumed you were making bsps because you were posting in the CE section

well i was gonna do maps and such but i gave up because its a bit to complicated for me

every picture i see looks like misfit is for macs
it isn't i use it all the time, im on a pc, its a remarkable program

Halo3o3 your sig is too tall. And why are we talking about misfit modeller in the ce section due to the fact ce uses .jms.

i really would not recommend purchasing 3ds max for halo modding unless youre in some technical drawing company or something that uses it . It costs over $3,500.00

It only costs around 100 euros if you're a student and can prove it.
