Some slight level adjustments would probably up this to a 7 by the way. I like it a little more every time I see it.

Its too much of a drastic change ombre, I mean in the second version, the first one is fine, It just goes from being all nice and colorful to really nothing at all.

I think the colors change to the off-black to quickly. I also think the colors should be more saturated.

Definetly needs more contrast, looks to light.
I prefer your old style way more.
