Obviously, you're too damn ignorant to read the forum rules/tips that have been here ever since halomods.com started, AND after all of the attempts that regular members have made to show you how to use the search feature, Or even look in the tutorials sectio. It's not that hard. This is probably the 9th or 10th topic you've posted that could have been answered in seconds with a click of a button. Things like this is only contributing to all the ignorance lately on this forum.

Please us the "search"option in Halomods before making a post in modding discussion. Almost everything anyone new is going to ask has been discussed and debated before and you will find your answers in past topics rather then a waiting for replies in new topics.

You can find the forums search here: http://forums.halomods.com/search.php

How to use search:
The first box is for searching for keywords hence labeled "Search for Keywords". Say you looking for something like Warthog Skins then typing in "Warthog Skins" in the box will yield results for anything with the word "warthog" and "skins" in it. So how do we narrow our field down to find exactally what we want? use the word "AND" in your search. It will look like this..

Warthog AND Skins

Now your search will find results with those 2 words together. The more words you add to your search the better your going to find what your looking for. Just remember to add the word "AND" between each word your using to make your results more accurate.

Searching for a Author:
Say you are looking for something I did a long time ago but dont remember what it was. Just enter in the second box "pepsi711" and it will yield results only dealing with things ive posted or said. There is a way to find topics only posted by someone which we will get to in a moment.

Search in forum:
Here you can choose exactally what section your going to be doing your search in. For the warthog skins you would most likely choose the "HaloPC Section" but i keep mine on "Forum Index" so im sure ive checked the whole forum in case someone posted a reference to something im looking for.

Search Options:

-left side

Search previous:
Just leave it on all posts seriously. Dont argue so you don't miss anything. Under that is three options. There pretty self explanatory. If we use our example of looking for a "Warthog Skin" i would first check "Search post title only", so you know the results in your post will be dealing with hogs skins as the base of the thread. When you use the other two options, your doing a more deep search by actually going into the topics/posts and seeing what people have said about what your looking for.

-right side
Leave the drop down at "post time" choose "descending" and the last drop down is how many characters (letters/text) you want to read in your results back.

Closing:
I hope this helped alot of thoes who are new here lately and joining the forum. Just remember like 90% of everything your going to ask in "modding discussion" has either been talked about or done and if you use the search option you will find your answers alot faster.

If your looking for tutorials on anything please see these links below:

http://forums.halomods.com/index.php?f=90

If none of what ive said above has helped you find a answer to your question, then feel free to make a post. Maybe you have something that none of this helped you find.

ok dude you are asking for a temp ban or something stop being an ass to everyone. I was a noob poster too once, except i was on forums like battle.net instead of halomods. for most noobs this is their first time on a forum, give them a break and stop bashing on all of them.

People misusing the word noob makes uppy very sad.

Gay : Real Life :: Noob : Internet

Yai.

Also, a lot of people don't know what the Search button is. You can't change the fact that someone who is new doesn't know about it. You CAN change the amount of people who DO by just saying 'use the search button.'
Not that hard.
