It lacks...detail.
Like, would it hurt to add a few leaves or make things....not smudgy?
I'm not a fan of this style. Everything seems a bit too bland. Sorry.

Its more of a practice of efficiency, not a style, its for self improvement. Speed paints rarely have detailed unless its from someone with advanced experience. I myself am sorry you don't understand what a speed paint is.

I think you should try painting a picture of say a desert or a big open area.
You'd have more room and freedom for detail that way and it would be good practice.

However your paintings not that bad.

Way to assume. I know what a speedpaint is, but it doesn't change the fact that this piece does lack detail. It doesn't need alot of texture, just something to define some areas. I don't see the point in submitting a "speedpaint" to an online forum if you're not going to expect criticism.
Speedpaint or not, I don't like it.
