Chemical imbalances can be self-brought as well. I know I've caused a bit of one on myself for some things I used to allow into my life when I was too young. I'm not even referring to alcohol; more so unnecessary mental trauma. My fault, but now it's caused my head to do things that I can't even help. Veegie's point holds water for a large majority of people.

...No? I guess all things in moderation, but Beer is certainly more damaging than a soda is. I drink massive quanities of soda every day and I'm quite healthy.

Yeah, I'm just saying... soda tastes better, at least, when you've never tasted beer before because it's an acquired taste, so I'd rather drink all-the-time tasty soda and gain a few pounds than spend a while getting used to beer and killing a bunch of brain cells in the process.

If you've ever been drunk (or even tipsy), or seen someone who is, you know there's definitely some cognitive impairment going on. Reaction time, coordination, and speech are slowed. Judgment and decision-making abilities get a lot worse, sometimes wrongly convincing us that we are more attractive to the opposite sex

You have to be taking poor care of your teeth and drink a *ton* of soda to get those effects though. I've taken in, though not excessive, large amounts of soda since I was but a child and all I've gained is an addiction. I actually have perfect teeth, and I'm very thin.

We had to watch a documentary on soda and all... Trust me, it is bad for you... Very bad.

GTAF is right though, its just not publicized. If I didn't watch that video I doubt I would've known for a while, if at all..

SHOUT, no you don't. You can take good care of your teeth and Soda can still ruin alot... So it looks fine, but is it fine? Possibly, but it might not. Plus if you continue like that for a while, you'll see what happens...

Oddly enough that is not the case with me. I have been drinking soda since about 4 and I am UNDERweight, and my teeth are in perfect shape, I have never had a cavity or anything.

Lol, UNDERweight eh? Well, I don't drink a lot of soda, maybe 2 a week at most, and I am way overweight, but not fat. I have a very small amount of body fat and yet I weigh like 130 lbs at age 13.
