Changing color Of plasma rifle's bolt impact

how would i change the color of the plasma rifles bolt when it hits an object? I have changed the bolt color but when it hits something it is the old light blue and i want it to resemble the color of halo 3's blue plasma color.

try looking in the decal
[deca]
effects\decal\bullet holes\ plasma burn maybe? just look around in decal im pretty sure thats it

I can't tell you exactly because I don't think I can see what it looks like when it hits an object.

You're either wanting to edit the decal or the flash bitmap here.
The decal is under [deca] in HMT and you edit these tags:

effects\decals\bullet holes\plasma blue burn inner glow
effects\decals\bullet holes\plasma blue burn outer glow
effects\decals\bullet holes\plasma burn outer glow
effects\decals\bullet holes\plasma burn outer glow large

Trust me, those are the only ones you need to edit.

Now on to the bitmap. It is under [bitm] in HMT and is called:

effects\particles\energy\bitmaps\flash c generic muzzle
