SOTW Submission Thread

Theme: Photography (read rules carefully)

Rules:
-To be considered, your submission MUST be prior to Sunday, November 11 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. If you have any questions about this, PM me. Any late entries, even if late by one minute, will be disqualified.

-To qualify, your signature MUST feature a photograph that YOU YOURSELF have taken. You are NOT allowed to use a stock image from the internet, a photograph that your brother/sister/parent took, etc. Anybody found cheating will be disqualified. This is ON YOUR HONOR! I have given you enough time to take a picture, modify it, and make a good signature with it.

-You are allowed only ONE entry. You are welcome to change your submission as many times as you wish prior to the time mentioned above.

- As with the SOTW contests of old, your signature MUST be submitted in two formats:

Any submission that fails to comply will be disqualified.

-Submissions MUST comply with the Halomods rules on signatures:

Signatures are limited to 500x120 with 3 lines of text.
However, if an image is not used (you either use one, or you don't, nothing in between) you will be allowed up to 5 lines of text.
Text rules are based on 1024x768. Having a widescreen resolution does not make you exempt from the rules.

Signature images limited to 75KB or smaller.

- No complaining! If you have a complaint, PM me and I will address it. Anybody found complaining or whining in this thread will be disqualified from this contest. Anybody found complaining twice will be disqualified for a minimum of a month (maybe longer). There are no exceptions.

- Have fun! If you didn't enjoy making your signature and I find out about it, you will be disqualified from this contest without warning.

If you have questions as to whether or not your signature qualifies, PM me and I will review it for you.

Awards: Winners will receive "notches" (like a notch in a belt) that they can post below their signature.

One last notice: This is not a democracy. I will make my decisions based solely off the rules posted above. If you have any problems or concerns regarding the rules or my decisions, DO NOT post it here. Rather, PM me and I will address them on an individual basis when I can.

I don't have a camera, my dads broke which I normally use and my sister wont let me use hers no matter what...

This concern could have been addressed with a PM. I have no option other than to disqualify you from SOTW for a week (yes, I understand that you weren't going to be able to enter anyways).

My camera, like yours, is also broken. Either I will have to dig through pictures I've taken in the past or I will have to borrow a camera if I plan to enter. It is difficult, but no matter how you look at it, every SOTW theme will have a disadvantage to SOMEBODY. You just got to "roll with the punches," as the expression goes.

I'm just curious, but you posted this in the "Post-Your-Picture" thread a while back. How did you take a photo of yourself skating down the street?

Watch it, Cuda has hawk eyes that penetrate the internet. I believe he stated somewhere that his friend was taking the photographs. Meaning he cannot enter. Nice call.

No. I took that picture of my friend. I was just posting all the pictures we had taken in the city, even if I wasn't in them.

I was actually wondering about that earlier as well, so don't feel too bad
