AI's in Vehicles

ok, i was making a map for fun, and i wanted a bunch of marines to get into a pelican, so i went into sapien, made a command list, i put the command to get into a vehicle, and they still didn't do anything.

I normally dont work with command lists, so i thought i was doing something wrong.

well first of all, ai aren't supposed to go into a pelican. as far as i know, the pelican itself is controlled via a script, and it doesn't have seats. secondly, try getting an ai to get into a ghost, or warthog. but even then, you will still need to tweak the warthog.vehicle tag in guerilla to get it to work correctly.

The Pelican does have seats. Check a map in HMT. But, how do you get them into the driver seat..?

Check the flag AI driver enabled and ai driver flying. Make it go into the driver seat and it will fly.

So you normally dont work with command lists?

keep trying, for some reason it takes people a lot of trys to get them to work, and then from there on they just work...

Pelican has seats.

Pelican is flown by animations

Marines can get into a seat.

Marines can only enter certain seats (pelican seats work)

Marines can get in driver seat.

Marines dont drive.

If you get them to drive, make em go through driving school a couple more times.
