I have already been to several street races. I will use it for street racing. Unless I'm not supposed to talk about that here then I wont use it for street racing.JK-47 wrote:Why does everyone feel the need to have a super street racing car that they will never actually use for street racing?

Since when do they have new production Shoopras?Senor_Grunt wrote:If I ever get the money for it, I hope to buy a Toyota Supra. Not the new ones though. I want the ones like in this video:

Yes. Don't. Buy a 2000-ish Acura Integra. Quality of a Honda, but marketed under the Acura name for some stupid reason. But, it has brum.DrXThirst wrote:I'll be getting a Honda Civic for my 16th birthday. Anyone have any ideas on what type / model I should get?

Street racing has little point. Woo, you get to break the law. If you want to speed and recklessly risk your life, drive at an autocross event, go to a track day at a raceway, or pitch in some money at a drag strip to run once. Getting caught and running a risk of getting in a serious accident isn't worth it. At a raceway, you've got much better controlled conditions.Senor_Grunt wrote:I have already been to several street races. I will use it for street racing. Seriously, an 05 Supra? That would be the first of it's kind, seeing as how they stopped all production on the Supra in 2002.Senor_Grunt wrote:I meant not like this fancy shmansy thing:

Car 2
But something like this:
ZOMG LOOX LIKE NFS
Which is an '05 btw.
Same Reason Toyota Relabels cars and calls them Lexus and Nissan Renames them Infiniti's. They can Sell them for a few grand more for a different logo and different stickers. Seriously, Open Fridays at Pomona, or at Irwindale surely beats whipping CRX's and mommy's Altima with a CAI that he got at Super Autobacs.Shadowkhas wrote:Street racing has little point. And one that really pisses me off is that they Renamed the Nissan Skyline The Infiniti G35 here, and The Mazda Axela the Mazda 3. Axela sounds like a really kickass name for a car.shadowkhas wrote:Well, yeah. Differences at a glance being the side the driver is on, and the letter placement on the Trunk. where it normally says "I N F I N I T I," the Japanese one says "S K Y L I N E."Monkey Terd wrote:The current skyline in Japan is identical to "our" infiniti G35.shadowkhas wrote:Wait, what?Cuda wrote:And one that really pisses me off is that they Renamed the Nissan Skyline The Infiniti G35 here,
Isn't the new Skyline going to be called the Nissan GT-R?
Compare: 2006 Skyline
2006 Infiniti G35

We have this exact car and color, only with a darker tint on the windows (minus the windshield, of course). It's way nice. We just got it a couple months ago.
