What warthog looks stretched? Be specific. There's FOUR different ones.
But just a question, did you even download it to see really see what it was like, or not? because I think you're missing the bigger picture here. Its nearly impossible to make an S.U.V. warthog that isn't stretchy on the back. All that is the texture coordinates being translated along with the vertices on the rear.
And the whole point, it's supposed to be challenging. It isn't my fault if you are horrid at driving and can't stay on the track. I made it as wide as I could, without making it look like too wide. Its actually fairly easy to stay atop the track.
& I would appreciate it if people wouldn't lable it simply as a "Log Mod". There's no logs at all in my map. Also, its so much more than a simple racetrack with models and bitmaps. It also features a few things that have never been done.

Please do tell, I've seen nothing in here that hasn't been done before.It also features a few things that have never been done.
And for me, this is under the class of "Log Mods", just cause theres no logs in it does not mean that it's not just the same. You opened sparkedit and made a race track, whether you made it out of logs or not isn't that important.
Now for the good:
It seems like it'd be fun, I like that you have duplicated tags in the map, it seems like lately there havent been any really good mods released, and it's always nice to see some extra work put into one.
I'l give you a hint: Staff here dont like ripped halo 2 models period.
nor do they like people using Ce content when they dont give credit where due.
other than that its not much that ive not seen before maybe be more creative than a race track in bloodgulch?

i did make a little demo vid of the track itself if you would like to add to your original post for people to see it but in the vid you will notice the lag spikes i was speaking of.

anywho.. i give this a overall 7/10 also. while it is cool it just seems unfinished in a sense. ive seen racetracks on bg before and not to recently someone made a launch ramp on here too. i tested this on the non-joiner map if that makes a difference.

EDIT: your map doesn't lag. i was checking some bitmaps in the library and noticed the same lag i was experiencing on your map in that SP map. the map doesn't lag. sorry for the mix up on that.

I tried this mod...and it needs alot of work/tuning up
Things that need work on:
First, the battle rifle..
1) Needs a new animation
2) It's projectile in halo 2 does not have a contrail

4) it does not have that kind of range or possibly damage (dunno cuz i havent killed anyone with it)

Nothing like the Halo 3 Assault rifle except for the longer thing at the front (forgot what is called), and it has the battle rifle firing sound...gross.
If it had a new animation...it be better. Needs hexed names. It says "sniper rifle".

I agree that the Battle Rifle is a bit sketchy and it needs a better animation, and removed contrails. But with the whole animation thing, easier said than done. I would have to download Halo Editing Kit, learn how to create them, create them, then convert them. I think that's a little much for just some small animations?
Warlord, I extracted the spectre tag from the CE map "Extinction". Sorry about that. I'll put that in the credits.
And that plasma rifle model IS l33t's, I forgot about that because it was a minor part about the mod =P The rocket launcher is mine, though.
Also, I would fix the sounds on the assault rifle, but I'm not able to. Sorry. When you would go to inject the sound into the battle rifle sound tag, it overwrites the assault rifle tag, too.

That model, nor skin was NOT created by me. I used CE tag conversion and swapped the dependency of the main bitmap to the banshee's bitmap. it looks alright to me. So if you were trying to "diss" or "burn" me, you failed. those weren't even my models, hah.
Deadhamster- I've never seen a mod with four different warthogs with individual models. Or there has never been a stunting device. If you would have read the readme, I stated that there was a stunting device on the S.U.V. type warthog. Its kind of like a controlled landing type thing for jumps, and whatnot.
Also, at the bottom of the first post, there's a link to one of my other mods. It's called Greenery Canyon, and I would recommend checking it out.

well, maybe if you duplicated the assault rifler than the sniper rifle to create the battle rifle, u couldve used InvaderVeex's halo 3 assault rifle animation, since the battle rifle is a remodel, the animation will work, and thus somewhat be like a halo 3 BATTLE RIFLE even though u stated its a halo 2 battle rifle. (possibly confusing, i dont care lmao)
I understand it's in the beta stage and needs alot of work.
And, be sure to try to get permision from the custom edition map creator to use his tags.

Deadhamster, I never said it can't be done. Stop jumping to conclusions. I was saying that I rarely see mods with duplicated vehicle tags. I'm not going to spoon feed ALL the details of the mod to you like a baby. Download it and see what the stunting device is.
