VERY NICE! this is a great project that actually is following through. but there is one thing i dont like. i think the BG sky is a little eh, flat. i think it needs to be livened up. good luck on the project =]

duck, i took the sky and added the a little more brightness to it and expanded the glow some. it fills more of the sky now. i really couldnt get a pic of it since alot of this stuff really has to be seen in game to get the full effect. soz on that.

so whats new now? i got 343 done. yeah, this one was a pain too cause you have the outdoors for 1/3 of the level and indoors for the rest so any changes you make outside would be present inside as fog and lighting is concerned...but i got it to work.. finally.

lets see.. gave the level a little more darkness as well as beefed the lighting inside where it counts. theres alot of dark rooms and halls so if this was your first time playing aganist the flood it would be a little spooky. i went with a red theme outside cause this is the first level where death and carange take place. i also fixed the water so it looks like your walking through pools of blood. also amped up the bugs and rain and colored some bugs red also so it isnt just green fireflys around..

blah.. im tired of typing and i know all you want is pics so here...lol

also i have a beta of the wraith going as well. i just need to add some detail to it and clean some lines up as well as add tech circuits like the shee and ghost have.

Woa, 343 looks spooky :D. The love the orange on the covie vehicles, it looks great on the wraith. Can't wait to see the next levels.

Looking amazing! Not too sure I like the orange on the Covanant vehicles and the shrunk sheild/health meters other then that. Its 1337!

while i was making the .ppf of the new bitmaps for bcnipod i couldnt help but laugh at what ppf studio told me..

finally TaR is done. the hardest thing to do with this was figuring out how to play this map in with the keyes map cause their essentially the same map in a sense. only keyes has the goo in it. but i think i figured out what to do with keyes now so it works with this. if thoes who a few pages back thought chillout was confusing wait till your on the covie ship. thats all im saying.. it really does feel like a whole new level.

as always you guys want some pics so heres the redux TaR...

Hmmmmm, I don't like the AR reticle but I do like what you did inside the ship. What usually was purple has now become sliver.

hes refering to "blu walls". its something old skool where people who competed in halo used modding to cheat by making the walls transparent using the needler glow so they could see enemys through walls. i believe this is what inspired the d3d9 shader hack. but the term was labeled "bluwalls" or having blue walls that are transparent when playing. its the origional wallhack.

and thanks again guys and much appricated further. im going to hop on getting keyes done now which should be simple since i just have to mimic TaR so it matches correctly. then all thats left is 2 betrayals and the library and thoes are the same kinda two heh...

side note again: you know all thoes posts about MC visors and what not in these forums? bottom pic is my take on a halo1,2,3, hybrid. i like it and it looks half decent. when i learn to edit cube maps correctly then ill change it. till then it stays like that.
