ive converted some mp maps
ce to pc
however the person that made them is no longer around.

So i cant get permision

I want to release as this means new bsp weapons and vehicles

But im not sure as i cant get his permision so what shall i do.

He's right, you shouldn't even convert it. So, you can't release.

well if you want to get technical on it you could do whatever you wanted but you cant post them here. it could lead to you banned but without permission from the owner of those maps halo mods holds its integrity on not letting maps being converted or release without owner permission especially when it comes to ce content from what ive seen.

so no, by halomods rules you can not post them or provide a link to ripped content. as for doing them its up to you. you cant poll the audience so to speak by asking if people want them. the rules here are in place for a reason and people saying "i want them" isnt going to make it happen.

thats the tech answer at least.
