If this isn't in outstanding mods once it is finished, I will be very suprised, as it already deserves to be in there!

This has gotta be the best skin mod I've seen by far, I love your style man. I really like that AR too! Can't wait to get this and re-play campaign with this mod!

Looking at all these pics are making me think that I should do something like this for myself just in one map and try and get better at skinning and all that.

Could somebody help me with multpurpose and shaders? because I want to jump in the cargo with you, pepsi, and the other skinners that actually edit multipurpose and shaders, rather than just the skin.

This mod is insane Pepsi, I can't wait for the release. The SP has me even more excited now. I can tell you put a lot of effort and time into this mod, and this mod is probably one of the most deserving of being in Outstanding Mods I have seen in a long long time. Good luck with the release, I know this will make a lot of people happy.

i finally went back to PoA and fixed a few things like i wanted. the lighting is now dynamic of course and it actually casts where its supposed to as far on sorrunding objects and such. watching the main cinematic with all the MC's getting ready to battle was awesome. one thing thoe... some of the bitmaps you see in these screens are going to be replaced. i just cant add them for a preview cause it would give away to much. just like theres no preview pics of my cortana...LOL! youll see in due time.. but yeah.. thoes red textures in the halls by the lifeboats for one are going to be changed as well as the floor caution strips, keyes outfit to match his new face and a few other skins on characters.

Question pepsi. The bitmaps are great and I was wndering once this was released can I use some bitmaps from it for my H3 Combat Evolved mod :?: ?

anything that spreads modding. sure. but one thing... some of these are not totally mine. for example.. the pelican is green devils and hogs rims are from not hims rim pck and so forth. all credits will be given at the time of release so just make sure you credit the original author of them.

but again.. yeah man.. go for it. we need to get a foot into the collective arse of halopc modding again since people have been busy with halo3. i know a few people working on project for just that cause.

EDIT: whats the wait a second for? thats the link to the pepness finale on which all of this is being made off of. dident you read the first page explaining all of this?

its where i got mine for this mod and others ive released. make sure you credit 1981gMachine if you use them cause alot of work went into that rim pack.

yeah, i had everything hosted on my hosting before i lost it due to some links to some stuff i shouldnt have (free photoshop and such). instead of having people go after the finale i rather them have this considering this is being made cause i wasnt 100% happy with how the finale came out and knew more could be done. so instead of rehosting the pepness finale i rather offer people something that has more time invested in it.

well i worked as late as i feel like im going to on this tonight but dont really have anything worth showing picture wise. these big SP maps have a ton of lightmaps to go through and its hard trying to do what you want to a SP map without it interfering with a MP maps bitmaps. ive been working on halo, aotcr and the maw off and on switching back and forth just generating ideas. i did come up with a few new things thoe..

..no one likes engineers to much do they? meh.. doubt ill do it...

but anyways i figured id share my outlook on how cortana should look like in halopc. i took all the crap off her face and made it nice and clean looking. also dulled down some of thoes tech strips she had on her body to .. well.. make her look better.

anywho... pics?

i should have more done tommarow and atleast 2 SP maps down also. its just a pain in the butt testing these things when you have to play the level to see them. thank god for dev trainer mixed with flycam.

side note:
no spankin to my cortana and if someone posts shes hot please seek help.

Well from these pics and vids you have been posting, Wow.

From the first day I met you and you were working on your first redux mod. I was thinking, there was no way this would be outstanding. But now, you came out with the new Redux and all I can say is, You were a new member not too long ago, and now your like a skinning god. I can't say anything more to this but 10/10.

Roflmao.

Anyways, the Pillar of Autumn looks amazing. It was always one of my least favorite levels because of its blandness and plain environment, but based on your pics, this is how it should look and I bet it will look even better in the final release.

yeah the only problem is that I will need a list of dependancies that got swapped, because I cannot see to get the PC maps to work with Mac correctly.

caboose, oscuro,.. thx, it means alot. and because of thoes comments i revised a few maps and tried to do a few more things just looking for ideas and what not.

so what have i done here recently...

well, i went back into the maps ive done and rechecked everything to make sure it all was ok and looked good. i also spent alot of time on trying to find some nice little easter eggs for people to find. i mean why not have a game within the game right? some are small, some are big and some can only be viewed in the cut scenes so make sure you watch them..lol.

im not going to post pic of the updates i did in the maps i revisted but rather show you new stuff on the maps i have finished. i dont want to spend alot of time typing but you should know the drill by now of what im doing as far as fixing textures and reworking lighting and theme levels and what not.

first off.. the maw pics in jpg format to save load times...

the next map i tackled was AotCR. this map is huge and went with a dark errie wonderland i guess. meh.. i like it and was fun to play on like 20 times checking things..lol.

finally we got the offical PCR and loading screens done for redux. we needed something that stood out and was plesent on the eyes. this time we injected a little humor into it on the load screen but hey.. works for me!!

sorry for neglecting this thread kinda but real life catches up with me bigtime on the weekends with work and all. my next maps to take on are 343 and halo. hopefully i can have them done soon so its getting closer. thanks for the awesome comments and the patience for those waiting for this. i rushed two projects before and thought they were "done" but this time im trying to put the nail in the coffin you know..?

Each and every pic you post amazes me even more than the one before, this mod is beautiful.

AotCR and The Maw looks wonderful!

Pepsi nvm I have one request for you. You need to change the vehicles out of the scenery. if they are classified as scenery the maps will not work on Mac.
