wel sorry, but I'm grumpy because people might download those, and I need to get rid of the corrupted files to do so. can you please tell me which bitmap files are corrupted?

besides i told you in my last post on page 1 what files needed replaced. im not doing the work for you. the part of modding that makes you better is finding these things by yourself. you think i took a wild guess at what happened?

btw, i do agree with caboose. the halo3 logo doesnt belong in halopc. its almost reminds me of honda ricer boys who stick "gt-r" logos on their civic.

it just looks tacky.

NO!!! That would defeat the whole pourpose! I'm trying to find out which bitmap is corrupted, and at the same time, I want those new skins of mine there. If I put everything back to norma, I wont have those skins! I need to know which bitmaps hold the numbers please...

Okay when i try this i get a corrupted one in something
(i keeps changing first it was the warthog, bullet hole, and now the dirt impact.)

since im in a good mood today im going to share a little tip on installing .dds files.

you know when you go to inject these and HMT gives a long speeh about "do you want to resize?"...

simply click no.

it will install fine and no corruptions. this go for a ton of bitmaps that throw that prompt at you.

simply put is this..

if its the right size in your paint program and you didnt resize it on your own (meaning heightxwidth) then tell hmt "no" at the prompt.

you will avoid alot of corruptions this way.

if someone wants to take the time and add it to the tuts section then go ahead. just post somewhere in the topic "pepsi told me that..."
