longsword vs mythos

hey guys kinda random but I play halo CE on extinction and I only play agaist my brother since my interent sucks. And since he stopped playing with me i rarely get to test vehicles and I was wondering in your opinions which is better: the Longsword or the Mythos? Both have nukes but the longsword has 110mm rotary cannons...and the mythos LOOKS like the nuke is stronger.........which one is the best in terms of firepower, the amount of damage it can give on any vehicle, and its shielding?

Well the Mythos can't shoot the Longsword due to strict aiming limitations, but the Longsword can't even kill the Mythos due to somehow impenetrable armor. Firepower though I believe they're both about the same. Mythos may have a stronger blast, but the Longsword's has a wider blast radius, and both kill anything instantly. So..I'd say the Longsword.

ook and another ?. Can the scarab take down both easily or does the mythos's armor still keep it from penetrating it? So on extinction or coldsnap w/e what is the BEST vehicle ?

Depends. Halo 3's Scarabs have what I'm assuming is supposed to be an anti-air turret on the back that is fairly strong. Mythos is fictional (yes, I know it's in a few CE maps, but that's it) though, so you can't really compare it to anything else in the Halo universe in terms of a fight.

I'd imagine the Scarab would be able to take out the Mythos, depending on who got the first shot off. If the Longsword was high enough in the air, it'd be able to kill the Scarab, if not (or if the turret operator was a sharp shooter), then the Scarab may kill it before it gets too close.

haha reading that post made me think of that one level on the h3 campaign where the longsword comes down crashing right when you come out of a building i think.

yeha I agree. I mean if the lonsword was low in altitude enough then the scarab would prbly win unless The longsword dodged it somehow or shot off its cannons fast enough.....but I pick the lonsword as being the best....thanks for your advice guys....and yeah if the longsword was high enough its definately over because it could either fire down missles at it or hail a fat nuke on it which in the REAL not CE game but in the real halo universe would definately take care of the scarab with one hit
