WHERE THE HELL DO SAVE MODS NEED ADVICE

ive been trying to save mods to folders but i only have two folders, "saved" and "savegame" ive been serching for any sign of mods or stuff like that and i cant find it so can someone plz tell me plz plz plz if i know this ill probaly start making them so can someone plz help me :cry: :?: :cry: :?:
