It does not make a movie file. It just makes a smaller collection of data. You still can not use the film file outside of the game engine.

You could record the saved film using a video capture device while it is playing.

You'd need an XSATA, but yes.

well before it was just xsata because of the USB, but now any device should work fine, so if you have any type of connectivity kit you are good

Well, the quality looks better than the Bungie.net posts, but they have to host a shitload of pics, so that's a reasonable solution.

small question, would it be possable to get this to work with other games, like make a program that converts any raw image into a jpg.

cause i think being able to extract my dead rising or DOA pics would be awsome.

dont have much info now, dont have the files on my comp to look at in hex, but i noticed that screenshots in DOA and in Dead rising were in the same format. Im guessing that halo might be in the same format too and they are all just raw data.

/me wants/needs this "XSATA" device to use this. It gets annoying not being on XBL so you can't grab screens, or the service takes awhile (well there are millions of users, but quite you

You don't have to use XSATA specifically, you can use any connectivity kit (i.e., USB to Xbox360 HDD adapter). Cool app Anthony. :p

I guess it's nice for people who don't have XBL or have an XSATA already, but screenshots upload instantly on Bungie.net now... at least they did for my last 3 screenshots I took.

yeah thats nice, but if you take a lot that you just really want for your PC.. why would you want to take the time to upload all to b.net just to dl them all again?

i took a look at it and the halo images are set up differently then the DOA and dead rising images i was hoping to have the same format.

wait, i dont get it. i have a really good picture on halo 3, but how do i work this program to retrieve it? I googled it, but no good. i have a wireless router that's xbox live compatable, and a wireless transmitter that works, but how do i work this thing?
