Problems converting delta towers 03
I'm trying to convert delta towers 03 Im using gemini as a base, I followed zone117 tut to the letter and picture and the conversion process seemed to work fine everything went ok, I then set about fixing player spawns so about 2 hours later I was happy resign, with entity and have a little test.............
loading...........then you failed to load the map dam dam dam
I know there could be 1 of about a thousand reasons why but I did nothing fancy just set the player spawns so question time
1 is this BSP conversion possible? it comes in at 88.73 MB
2 can I use just part of the BSP because its HUGE and I only want to use the bit at the very end where you pwn regret (this is why setting spawns takes so long on my crappy pc/graphix card)
3 Is this conversion available to download (I looked but couldn't find)
(there is Prophets Elimination by headshotmaster but its a pre H2C conversion and the water doesn't look right)
4 Should I just let it go and have a cup of tea instead?

first off... are you using h2c to build in the bsp? and yes the bsp will work.

Failed to load again, everything was fresh and checked, the conversion process went fine, I signed with entity 1.6, this is annoying could someone offer some advice or help I've heard the newer versions of H2C are worse than the older versions, does any one have this BSP conversion saved or would be willing to make it for me (just convert and tested I'll do all the really boring buts like spawn fixing and such)
I'm considering doing the BSP conversion the old way but to do that you have to add all your weapon mods and such before you do the BSP switch due to some entity error

OK... heres a brief tutorial
1. decompile SP map (yes the entire map)
2. decompile MP map
3. swap the bsp and lightmap in Guerilla
4. save
5. rebuild with your MP's scenario with all checked except looping sounds
6. test it out
EDIT: and yes the older h2c will do this much better. and beavercreek is one of the best base maps.

thanks fuzzysquirrel I got it the bsp converted I used colossus now I have new problems that are probably old problems to everyone else
The map I'm using has 6 mach doors I moved them out of the way and now where the door was is the external scenary (sky and water) you go thru them and you end up where you should be but behind you now is just sky and water and they loose projectiles when shot thru the openings now 4 of them I can put the doors back and live without the space behind them the big door works just fine no problems but there is a door opening at the bottom level of the map that needs to be correct can this be fixed or did I not tick one of the vital boxs during the rebuild process?
I also have a problem with blocs respawning on top of each other I think it is something to do with netgame equipment not a big problem because I'll null out what I don't need and I'll use the bloc placement reflexive to spawn what I need only once

the doors are part of the bsp... well they are machs. but bungie tried to save space byt not have a bsp were the doors were... so you can move them.. and the bloac problem is prolly cuz you nuilled those things

The weird thing about the doors is I moved them I thought I'll half bury them and use them as cover and they opened we approached from one direction so for the 4 doors I could live without I'll 180 them and that should work *hopes*
and as for the other door that is vital I'll try swap it with a door that works
you've been added to the top of the credit list when/if I make it worthy of a release just for your help hand the fact you took time to reply as for the respawning blocs I rebuilt with everything ticked except death zone weapons and I can never remember how to spell veihicals and I get it so wrong spell check doesn't help so I'll just say cars so I'll swap the respawning stuff to fusion coils because they are a good thing to respawn, anyway this is a minor interlude while I recompile again (entity being picky with my bad maths)

Dam you cpt poopface (not really) I looked at this 2 days ago and thought nah that aint it I suppose cos its so dark but looking again yes it is but I've put some thought in to this now and and I have the overall picture in my head so Ill continue plus those doors I've opened (one way so far) and I have some fairly original weapon ideas (ideas Im good with doing however)
plus I'll be asking some if I can use little bits of other mods ( the skin is a huge ask )
I'm not a good modder but I hope doing this I can put back to the communtity that I have pestered with my noobis questions plus of course I'll let anyone use it anyway they want
and I dont wish for or want credit (i'll know and the people whos opinion I care about will know too thats enough for me) but the credit list of people who help me is going to be HUGE
Also do you know how mach doors open?
*edit I could say I figured it out more truthfully I folowed instruction that didn't work so I went to try something to test and I fluked it so far the 4 previously unused rooms now have 1 way doors in inside are teleporters that reward you for risking going down to the lowest level and the low door that I could'nt open and kept seeing thru the bsp when i moved now I dont need one perfect, time to make the prototype weapons and then discuss and walk round with play testers
Oh yeah CPT POOPFACE your on the credit list too for the yaw pitch and roll tut
