You don't even have a 360. Furthermore, today isn't over. For example, I didn't get Halo 3 today either, but there's about a 50/50 chance it's coming later on in the afternoon.

I hated the campaign. It was way to short and other bad stuff that I will not mention for people who have not beaten the game.

I totally dislike Halo 3.

Gameplay feels so wierd now. The spartans look wierd. The campaign was boring. The BR is a piece of crap now. The AR sucks. The weapons as a whole are so powerful the combat PvP goes so fast it's stupid. Basically first hit wins.

It felt like going from Halo 2 back to Halo 1.

I'm 100% for Halo 2.

This is a rant thread, and your rant is valid. I'd personally prefer the more Halo 1ish feel. You're entitled to your valid opinion, so no one attack that. My personal rant is that I feel terrible and I'm not prepared for a geometry test tomorrow.

Geometry = Easy
Calculus with analytical trigonometry = Hard

I've played halo 2 so much that the feel of it is just like second nature. I know the physics what it feels like etc. But in Halo 3 it's different. It feels more restricted. Jumping is different, running, just the overall physics of it are so different.

As for the multiplayer levels, I hate them so far. The three beta ones are good. I just don't like the extremely "futuristic" look of the rest of them.

I also hate the reload buttons being RB and LB. I'm so used to hitting "X" to reload that I end up throwing the bubble shields and items etc. all the time. I hate not being able to BxB, BxR, double shot, etc.

The one thing I'm happy about is the sword. It's much less deadly. The range was decreased and it's much much easier to dodge and take out with the shotty. But one bad thing is fixed, and another is created. The Gravity Hammer. WAY overpowed. It can take out a freaking warthog going full speed directly at you. I hate it already.

I'm really disapointed with Halo 3.

Not to mention the campaign put me to sleep.

If they haven't changed much from the beta, I'm going to absolutely love Halo 3. Then again, I'm easily pleased.

Then again, I don't have a 360.

I want Halo 3. I long for it. I've been such a long time halo player, and I see people around me who got into halo thanks to me, know just about nothing about the story, other than that the big ones with 4 mandibles are Elites, are buying Halo 3. Mostly because of the hype.

Bah. I'd have enough money in no-time. My problem is, I already have a Wii, I'm living in my parents' home, and a 360 isn't really a go.

I think my 360 may be messed up...which blows because I only played one game of Halo 3. It keeps freezing and then these 'static' bars pop up on the screen and it makes the image look horrible. It did it four times in Halo 3 and then one time when I turned on the 360 and it was loading.

I'm gonna let it cool now and hope for the best.

Why wouldn't you let it cool in the first place? You can ruin your 360 like that.

A friend of mine (ElectPoopie)'s Xbox 360's Video is way messed up, colors glitch and etc, because his xbox 360 heated up too much and the solder fucked up.

So he has to do the towel trick every 5 mins to make the solder melt again and get a good connection...

Or something along those lines...

1) Adapt. It's more balanced. If you want it to be exactly like Halo 2, play Halo 2.
2) Next-gen technology.
3) Adapt, it's more efficient. In addition, it sure sucks they took out bugs which led to people exploiting button combinations to gain an advantage over less skilled players.
4) Not touching the Hammer argument. Haven't played the game. Don't have a fair judgment of whether you are accurate or not.

Agreed, except hes decently right on the hammer, Though I heard it has a slower wait for you to swing it so you can't go around swinging it as fast as the sword. But yes, it is powerful, if you watched the paridiso xbox live DL it showed the guy hitting a moving hard out of his way. I don't have the gave how ever yet.

It wasn't hot. It was barely even warm. I played a game that lasted about ten minutes in forge and then another ten minute game of campaign.

And yep, holy fucking shit, I get the three rings. This really blows. Halo 3 launch day.

This whole deal with the rings of death sounds REALLY serious to me...makes me definitely not want a 360.

Yeah...I could never do the weird combos efficiently, and they WERE an exploit, no matter how you look at it...it really sucked when I was playing on XBL, because EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG knew how to do it, and I couldn't, and frankly, didn't want to...I'm glad they took them out.
