well the last thing pepness was working on during our reliant period were some custom maps for server side instillation. this meaning your server admins can install these on their server and visitors will not need anything to download or add to their game to play.
some have already played these so were just making them public now for those who were interested in them.
what do you get?
deathisland:
banshee races. this map has been modded so that there are banshees now on the map to fly and fully working for racing. the navs have been raised but the visual aspect cant so it still looks like there on the ground. but they are raised. just make a race type of your choice and make no vehicles. the shees will still be there.
gephy:
modded map with the option to go on top of the map and on top of the center pillar. the tele's for this are located in each based when you go to walk down the tunnel entrance. snipers are up top for those who like to snipe and such. there are also tanks on this map for the tank lovers out there.
icefields:
ghost races. nothing but ghosts. set the map again to no vehicles on your game type and add whatever play you like. best used for ghosts but ctf can be cool also. there about 23 ghosts spread along the map to make them better to find in a pinch.
sidewinder:
teles at base lead to the top center of the map with a pistol and sniper cashe located up there. there are also 2 warthogs there for added fun. there is a minor glitch in this map where rcon doesn't work so that is a note when using this map.
wizard:
its a melee only map. you pic the weapon you want to melee with in your game options and let the fun begin. there is no ammo, no nades, no way to die except for melee. you can make it a slayer melee or a ctf melee. its up to you. in oddball thoe the melee hit does have the effect of getting shot with a rocket launcher so be prepared to chase the skull down when it goes flying.
longest:
nothing big except added to convie gun turrets in the map. one on each end of the hallway shooting down. definally makes thing a bit more intresting.

installation:
admins. go to your server ftp or directory and just overwrite these maps on the ones located in your map file. make th custom game type as i said in each description. upload the game. then reset the server for the map and game types to take effect and your done.
no one visiting your server will need to add anything to their halo and is a stand alone mod meaning it runs itself. have fun people and enjoy a little chaos that pepness began. we are working on some newer mods to be coming soon and learning from some new ways to change other things not seen in halopc before.

these maps of course are some basic sparkedit techniques and such and isnt ment to portray anything groundbreaking. we just wanted to have some fun with some racing maps and mix things up making it different then driving hogs in circles or basic ctf on halopc and giving peoples servers a new outlook on things. no voting needed or brash comments but we just wanted to post them here for a place for people who play these in our server to have a place to download them.
its much simpler to tell people to go to halo mods and look for this thread then giving out a bunch of details.

picture death island. now picture alot on banshees on the beach.
picture inifinty. now picture a bunch of banshees for driving
picture icefeilds. now put alot of ghosts on it.
picture being on top of gephy, DC and SW with a sniper. now put a tank on top of DC also with some.. maybe i might have to take pics.. ughh..
do i really have to? are people really not that clued in after 4 years of what it would look like by description when nothing bitmap wise is changed?
