my sparkedit dosen't load my map, or it doesn't show the preview, its been loading for a long time what do i do????

Just guna put this out there, cuz i think itl solve this lil problem. First off, you cant load CE maps, convert them b4 hand. I also believe if youve modded the map in HMT or HHT, it wont load it. And third, a question. If your like me(sad, and unfortunate) you halo CD was scratched, and you cant re-install. But, you can magicaly download CE, cuz u got the keycode, and CD. Are there perhaps some config. files needed to run sparkedit when you install HaloPC, or does it recognize you dont have HPC? Im not really sure, because i always got it to work on my old computer, when i had HPC, now all i have is HCE, maybe thats the problem?
Not only that, i changed the pathfile for my bitmaps(to my own folder), and still NO-GO. Then i tried making my own C:programfiles/microsoftgames/halo/MAPS folder, and NOPE. plz help? and i installed dotnetfx......

im a noob to this and all so could someone tell me how to select objects cause it does nothing wen i left click them. am i doing something wrong?

You need to enable selection mode. Click the help icon at the top of the SparkEdit window if you can't seem to get it to work. Also, make sure that you have selected the class of the object that you are selecting. The box around it will turn red when you do, and you will be able to select it. Have fun!
