its bassed of metropolis turf, and a few others, with a twist

Info:
This map contains a custom bitmaps.ppf for the picture at the map select screen
& a ui.ppf so it says Turf on map select Screen

Excellent job, how ever it doesn't quite look like turf, but the guy that did the map is good I'll give him that, Nice man..Nice

actually this is just a beta he is gona let me convert the finished map when its done this is just a sample of whats to come

this is almost like turf halo 2 but since then he made a new bsp and is addming hud and a few other things all halo 2 of corse if you noitise no halo 2 weaps but yeah itsa good map not much lag on PM/Mac tho

its lags real bad for CE tho

Yea those pictures blown up are a lot better then the little ones. Almost reminds me now of the mombasa maps in halo 2, outskirts and metropolis.

havnt posted in there forever, but ywa, that was just a beta test. ive actually remodeled a good bit of it, and then im releasing it for h2v at first. hope to have a ce version shortly after though. The beta version was not portaled and was about 10k pollies, btu this new version is ~30+k pollys ( i know its a lot, overloaded the CE engine when it wasnt portaled) btu portaled i got ~150 fps with a 6800 gs in ce. get about 400-500 with my new 8800GTX though. lol.
here aresome picks.. sry for high res.. but i dont think halo mods has shot tags liek everywhere else.

as i said, halomods is gay and doesnt have shot tags.... aka they are [shot][/shot] instead of and it makeds the images 800x600 , but u can click onthem and see the full res image

and im not gonna resize em sry, doin hw, and a lot of it, and on top of it all, im jsut super lazy atm. sry.

The map maker was showing pictures of an update he's working on because people wanted more pictures of the map for when it's finished (this is a "beta" version done in CE). The actual download in this topic is a conversion that replaces ratrace.map. So yes this is the correct forum to release a PC conversion of the CE beta.
