New Halo 3 Video

Master Chief's legend lives on in first-hand stories told by the men who served with him in the Battle for New Mombasa.

Disagree.

Whilst you all dwell on the surface of it, I'll be waiting for the follow up. It sets up a conflict, which has implications towards the next video. While this one may not appeal to you, you're clearly misguided in thinking that it was meant to blow you away. No. It's a precursor to more. It isn't supposed to be some amazingly fantastic super cool video.

Honestly, what was gained from making two replies so soon after each other, with the latter not being relevant to events proceeding the former?

Just keep it in one post, especially if you're just making such a dull, shallow comment. There's no reason to be making more than one reply if you don't plan to give it any depth.

Also, no quote trees.

I agree with this. It's cool to see them actually make it seem like a real event, as a small way of developing the story and giving you the feeling of what it would have been like had this war actually occurred.

In later videos. Apparently the concept of setting up a conflict surpasses most here. It's Halo related, so there must always be explosions and death, nothing can ever have any relevance to the story fiction without lots of super awesome shit blowing up.

Agreed.

Well Dr.Xthirst if I see another mod or something by you, I'll be sure to comment on how it sucks more than once in separate posts. :)

agree with tural 100% on this too many of you are looking skin deep. :( it setting it up like titanic the older person starts by telling what happened then it goes back and shows you exactly what happened i think its the best so far and can't wait for another. so it can show you exactly what has happened. well actually the game will do that won't it?

I thought it was a really cool one. Maybe not action packed that kept you on the edge of your seat but it was something you could sit back in and just take in what bungie is trying to make the game like. The video seemed moving, even though it is fictional, it still gives you that feeling like it was real and truly makes halo 3 more powerful.

I'm glad bungie did this, they certainly know how to market a game.

Great video. I really enjoyed how the battle felt like it was real and epic.
