Light

I had to take 30 pictures for my photography class, and this one was my favorite out of them all, and I was wondering what you guys thought of it?

We weren't going for like million dollar shots or anything. Just simple photos conveying a certain feeling. And the quality is low because I had to set up the exposure, so it added noise to it :\

I'm sorry, but I think you should find another picture to take :(
The lighting isn't very nice, I kind of get the feeling of what you may have been going for, but it's not quite there. Also, you really need to get rid of the grainy effect.

I didn't edit it at all, the edited version is at my school. It's pretty cool I suppose, but this is the original, the lighting in my house was just like that. And like I said, the grainyness was out of my control. I had to set up the exposure on my camera to capture more of the area.

Well, I suppose it's just trial and error.

The lamp looks nice, but the angle is weird. I would've taken the shot where there weren't shadowy surroundings.

Alright, well, just to make sure I don't completley suck, heres some other ones:

None of them have a general purpose other than conveying a certain placement of objects in an image, and feeling of a scene. I wasn't going for a picture of a bolt of lighting, or someone doing a 360 on a snowboard. I had to make due with what I had at the moment, and tried to make the best out of it; and I have to work with my generic camera with no aperture settings, and crappy ISO settings, and no way to edit shutter speed (that I know of...).

Like I said, I can't mess with aperture settings, so the focus gets all screwed up. I've been having problems with my focus settings as well...

Stairs and Quilt Chair photos are the best of those. Would look nice in some more eerie LPs.
