False. There is a wide angle and a zoom lens available for it. (and it has a hot shoe for the Canon Speedlight flash)shadowkhas wrote:No interchangeable lenses. :/FleetAdmiralBacon wrote:Gettin' a new camera soon.

Specifically a Canon PowerShot S5 IS. I like the features it has over the SLRs, plus the price is great and plenty of good reviews.
I also prefer it over the EOSs because it does video and uses an SD card. SD cards are much cheaper/faster/smaller/better than CF cards. Also AA batteries so I can always have extras that don't cost hundreds of dollars.
Even though you can use conversion lens, I don't need them. I'm also not paying a hundred dollars more for an EOS 350D (which is 2 years old) or up to $400 more for an EOS 400D (Which is a year old)

Everything you'll ever need to know about me.
Need help with Linux, C#, C, Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, CSS, or VB? I'm available from 3:00PM-8:00PM EST on weekdays.

They're conversion lenses, they're actually available for most all of the PowerShot line (even the standard ones, I could very easily get a conversion lense for my A60). You unscrew a ring that goes around the lens and then screw on the conversion lens over it. I'm not sure of the specs on the extra lenses, just that there is a wide angle and a zoom one, neither of which I have any real purpose for.shadowkhas wrote:Wikipedia lied to me. Is it that you can physically interchange them during use, or are there two models (one wide angled and one telephoto)?False. There is a wide angle and a zoom lens available for it.

Personally, I think it should still be remembered and mentioned, but so should other major things that still influence us today...I just don't think we should still have big ceremonies like my old school used to have...there's a time for a major event's most grieving times to pass.

Ah, I should have thought to take a look at the artist's comment box, heh.GametagAeonFlux wrote:Taken in Wendover.JK-47 wrote:I see what you did there.shadowkhas wrote:
