Gravity Hammer

Have an idea for a project, but need to assemble a team? Here is the place to do it.

Well, I figured that it would be pretty cool to see someone get the Gravity Hammer that Tarturus uses working perfectly in Halo 2 Multiplayer. I tried injected it as a weapon, however, when you walk over it, it doesn't offer the choice to pick it up. So, all I can think if is switch the mode of the flag to the gravity hammer (because he holds the gravity hammer and the flag the same way) and then try to get it to work. That's all I can think of, but I hope someone else figures out a way to get it working perfectly!

I was actually trying to do this yesterday, yes I was actually modding. But anyways, I moved the markers in the [mode] tag around a was getting the hand positioning okay but then I accidently overwrote the .map when I ftp'd. I worked on it some more but never ftp'd it yet. I will probably try it tommorrow, best person to ask would be Turk. :wink:

:P maybe if i get my own stuff done, or if i get fed up with it, ill take a look at a good gravity hammer.

I think Clan holly wood halo swapped it with a sword. but it doesn't have the attack abilities of the one in campaign.

only problem i can see is the jmad cause i can try to add a melee effect but it would also effect the base animation. So unless i can get a weapon specific melee effect then it might be possable to that exent.

I'm sure there is one foot tag that creates an effe from melee.

im not sure that tags are same from xbox to pc but i feel pretty certain that there is a grav hammer damage effects file and if not maybe use rocket or wraith damage effects tag cuz well (dreams to himself) hilarity ensues

EDIT: there is a random damage effect file for smash_melee so.... :shock: :lol:

i already did it weeks ago for fun. 5 minutes job
u need to find a other impact effect than the original and fix the animations though

you need to fix the hand placements on the model and also you need to try to scale down the hammer cuz its not that big in h3. just lettn ya know :D

Maybe size the hammer down just a tad so it will look better with the MC.
