Applying Serentitys After the Map is Modded

Post by Phaile »

Say I wanted to remove the invisible barriers from Turf, but I already modded it. If I were to apply the patch to my modded turf, even though I'm supposed to have a clean map, will it corrupt my map or anything along the lines of mess it up?

if you wanna get rid of turfs barriers just use
SbspCollisionTools.jar and apply the no barrier obj files onto it.
you don't need too have a clean map for that.

[And yes i suck at explaining]

Yes, applying the patch will overwrite all your changes to the map. The way to do it is as OKII suggests. You could also find the patch with the barriers removed (see the downloads section), patch a clean map with it, then extract the collision.obj of the patched map and inject it into your modded map.

I've done exactly that procedure before, and it works.

If you want to know how I did something, take apart my mods.
