Warthog
Mongoose
Wraith
Scorpion
Chopper
Elephant
Banshee
Hornet
Prowler

That's all that's confirmed. I don't know if they count the Troop hog as its own vehicle and such. Unknown whether other Halo 2 vehicles will be returning, as it has never even been hinted at.

We'll find out soon enough.

Yeah, I'd like to see the Guass Warthog return. I wonder how the Rocket Hog would handle, but I think it would go overboard with vehicles if they included that.
I think someone else also pointed out that if they don't include the Spectre in Halo 3 there'd be a loop hole in the storyline since the Covenant Seperatists (Elites) would be missing a main vehicle.

I really wonder what other surprises they have in store for us.

In EGM, the Gauss hog was in a MP picture of a vehicle pileup. Im guessing it will be:

1.Ghost
2.Warthog
3.Mongoose
4.Wraith
5.Scorpion
6.Chopper
7.Elephant
8.Banshee
9.Hornet
10.Prowler
11.Troop Hog
12. Gauss Hog
13. A snow Hog varient?
14. Spectre

I do recall them saying that the pelican and phantom wouldn't be pilotable.

It would be something if they decided to make a brute variation of a tank. I have no idea how it would work or if it would balance out, but I think that it would add some extra spice to Halo 3.

Also a grunt vehicle would be cool also

well the pelican and phantom are destructible now the boat nahh doubt it variants of the hog ought to just be under the tag so you can choose either normal guass troop snow or w/e
