I want to help with the halo fan art you are making SOOOOO badly!
I was supposed to do a huge 6 person collab with some digital painters to do a halo fan piece, but we never got the time to do it. i have time now, so I think in all honesty, i could do some halo type space background paintings for ya

I love the ship, although parts of it are over sharpened, and aliased.

Didn't you release something very similar to this several months ago? Or is this maybe the same close to finished? Anyway, I'll attempt to point out some possible flaws since you stated earlier you wanted some critique instead of just "awesome" posts (not that I really have the authority to do so). So far it's hard to find much wrong with it (I mean, it is pretty awesome). Here's an image with the main thing I saw:

Also, it seems a little *too* glassy of a render, even for a covenant starship.

Edit: D4rk caught it at the same time.

The ship is angled. The part in the middle is raised, and emits light. It's more noticeable at the front of the ship. It's merely an optical illusion of sorts.

I'm pretty sure anyways.

I was talking about the actual shape of the ship, the covenant base all of their ships off the forerunners. The forerunners used all geometrical shapes when building anything. So I just think it doesn't look like a ship the covenant would use or build.

ill fix the lighting and the aliasation though its probly cause from rescaling and sharpening once

final version out soon

also the middle part IS raised off and this render has a secondary light blue (and low power) light scource on the bottom side if u look at pic. Hence th elighting on middle part

As for style: I didnt wanna make it identical to halos style since i mightve gotten some problems with copyright laws, but i did a "artists impression" of their style. Heavy influenced by the books i liked their description of the ships being very organicly shaped.
