I have read various tutorials that say to swap a scenery item for instance with a weapon, or vehicle etc, but I can't. I have sparkedit 3.02, and it simply won't let me. I have to be in that particular item's editing mode to duplicate or swap, and I can only swap it with an item of the same type. ?
I really wanted to swap a couple scenery items in Battle Creek for banshees, just to see what it was like, but I can't. How am I supposed to do this??? (Other than rebuilding)

I will do that as soon as I get home... But if this helps you any... I select the scenery item I want to swap right? Ok, then I go to the swap thing, and there are only scenery items in the scenery edit mode. So then I go into the vehicle edit mode... Whoops, that deselects the item. See my dilemna? How am I supposed to swap it if I can't even keep it selected when I go to the vehicle mode???
The solution to this problem is simple. You can'y do what youre trying to do.
However, you can:
Go into halo map tools and open beavercreak.
1) Select the banshee under the vehicles tag.
2) At the top where it says: "vehi" "item" "obje" in three boxes, change it si that it says: "scen" (not "scnr" !) "obje" "yyyy".
3) Click the save button.
4) Your vehicle will be under the scenery tab.
5) Open Beavercreak.map in sparkedit.
6) Go to: tools> import tag into scenario.
7) Change the first dropdown to "Scenery"
Click the banshee in the second dropdown.
9) Click 'OK'
10) Now you can swap scenery for vehicles.[/i]
